In this post, James Gosling chimes in on the Sun/Microsoft settlement. He ends his post with, "We're not a bunch of moronic secret subversive Microsoft lapdogs. We've worked very hard over the years to fairly balance the needs of all the various communities. Relax. Have a little faith."
