Solaris is now Open
I make note of this because it is a monumental shift in the business of operating systems, a tribute to the power of the Linux community. At one point the hardware and OS were the crown jewels of Sun Microsystems. The thought of a $0 price for Solaris was ridiculous.
And the times they are a changin...
